Second-half goals from Richarlison and Etienne Capoue gave Watford their first Premier League win of the season at AFC Bournemouth.
Richarlison gave the Hornets the lead with his first goal for the club before Capoue secured the three points with a stunning long-range strike, handing Marco Silva his first win as Watford manager.
Andre Gray almost opened his account for Watford just before half-time at Vitality Stadium but lifted a shot over the crossbar from six yards out.
But after a sustained spell of pressure in the second half Watford took the lead when Richarlison bundled in Gray’s cross at the near post.
Capoue then sent a thumping effort into the bottom corner from 30 yards out, ending Watford’s run of seven successive away PL defeats.
